AAP accuses Centre of helping Mallya flee

NEW DELHI:The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today accused the Modi-led Central Government of “helping” defaulter liquor baron Vijay Mallya flee the country.

New Delhi, March 11

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today accused the Modi-led Central Government of “helping” defaulter liquor baron Vijay Mallya flee the country.

They alleged that top BJP ministers helped him to escape from the country. The party further alleged that the BJP has surpassed Congress on the issue of corruption.

Referring to media reports, AAP leader Dilip Pandey said Mallya managed to run away from the country “in connivance with people in the government” while adding that it was allegedly at the “behest”

of the top BJP leadership that the CBI “altered the lookout notice to give safe passage” to Mallaya, currently in London. — TNS
