The AAP has planned a central manifesto to be released on April 25 for the May 12 Lok Sabha elections while next month after May 1, its seven candidates will release their constituency-specific manifestoes.

Addressing reporters here today, AAP senior leader Gopal Rai made the announcement in the presence of all the seven AAP candidates, adding that thereafter, the party will begin its third phase of election campaign in the national capital.

Rai said in the central manifesto the party will tell the voters why they should vote for the AAP. The party will reach out to people with its roadmap and benefits of electing the AAP candidates in the Lok Sabha elections in Delhi.

He said both the BJP and the Congress are scared of the AAP seeing its work in Delhi as that is why they took so long to declare their candidates in the national capital. "Our candidates have worked hard and earned the trust of people in Delhi," said the AAP leader.

Rai also warned people against voting for the Congress this Lok Sabha election in Delhi terming it a "vote-cutter" party and assuring that electing the AAP candidates will take their demand of full statehood into parliament. "It's a battle for Delhi's right and this time you need to think carefully before exercising your franchise," he said.
