In response to claims made by Delhi minister Atishi regarding alleged threats to arrest CM Arvind Kejriwal if AAP does not leave the INDIA alliance, the Delhi BJP has issued a strong rebuttal, dismissing the allegations as “frustration tactics”.

Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva said Atishi’s statement was merely frustration and the BJP would not be intimidated by such tactics. He added that “the mastermind behind the liquor scam is none other than Arvind Kejriwal” and he would be arrested soon.

Sachdeva accused the CM and his ministers of “looting” Delhi and said the people were well aware of this.

Sachdeva displayed confidence that his party would all seven Lok Sabha seats of Delhi. Responding to minister Saurabh Bhardwaj’s remarks on the BJP’s absence from an all-party meeting, Delhi BJP secretary Bansuri Swaraj characterised it as another sign of frustration from the AAP camp. Swaraj challenged Bhardwaj to address questions regarding alleged Bill scams during his tenure as Minister of Water and Deputy Chairman of the Jal Board.
