Principals of APS’s are chosen through a transparent, deep selection process by a Board of Officers and the same is ratified at the highest level by a Board of Governors and the Army Welfare Education Society. The present Principal APS Shankar Vihar is no exception to the rule, the Army said.

APS, Shankar Vihar, is one of the premier Army Public Schools in the country which has created and maintained its reputation for academic and co-curricular excellence over the years, the Army said.

The present principal, Malini Narayanan, has been the head of the institute since its inception in 2007 and the institution owes its unblemished reputation and excellence to her for nurturing it over almost two decades, the Army added.
