A day after the Delhi poll, the BJP held a post-election review meeting on Friday. During the meeting, Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva expressed confidence that the party will secure a major victory in the Delhi Assembly elections. He claimed that the party will win over 50 seats and form the government in the Capital.

The review meeting was attended by BJP national joint general secretary Shiv Prakash, Delhi BJP election in charge Baijayant Jay Panda, co-in charge Atul Garg, MPs and senior leaders. The meeting focused on analysing the party’s performance.

Speaking to the media after the meeting, Sachdeva criticised the AAP government led by Arvind Kejriwal, accusing it of corruption and mismanagement.

“Delhi people are fed up with the corruption, misgovernance and inaction of the Kejriwal government. Delhiites voted decisively against Kejriwal on Wednesday,” he said.

Sachdeva expressed belief that the outcome of the Delhi Assembly elections would be surprising, predicting that the BJP would emerge victorious with a clear majority. “We are confident that we will win more than 50 seats and form the government,” he added.
