A case of Japanese Encephalitis (JE) was reported from Bindapur area under West zone recently. JE is a zoonotic viral disease which is caused by JE virus. The virus is transmitted from animals and birds. It may result in febrile illness of variable severity and affects the central nervous system causing severe complications, seizures and even death.

Admission to Nursery classes

New Delhi: The admission process for nursery in 1,741 private schools is set to begin from Thursday. The last date to submit registration forms is December 20.
