New Delhi, November 9

The Centre has moved the Supreme Court challenging a Delhi HC’s order giving the green signal to the Delhi Government’s doorstep ration delivery scheme.

On Tuesday, a Bench led by Justice LN Rao deferred hearing on the Centre’s petition after Solicitor General Tushar Mehta sought an adjournment for a day. It posted the matter for hearing on November 12 after senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi urged it to defer the hearing as he had some personal difficulty. — TNS
