The event also marked the launch of a week-long outreach programme across all seven parliamentary constituencies from February 23 to March 1, aimed at taking the government’s one-year report card to party workers and residents. The campaign is being coordinated by Delhi BJP general secretary and MP Yogendra Chandolia.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said the year had been defined by “public trust, commitment to service and good governance”. “The first year was about changing Delhi’s direction; the next four years will be about transforming its condition,” she said, adding that transparency, digital governance, infrastructure expansion and welfare measures had given the city “new momentum and new confidence”.

Invoking Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mantra of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas”, Gupta said the government had prioritised the poor, women, youth, workers and the middle class. She highlighted the induction of 4,000 electric buses, the reconstitution of the Yamuna Par Development Board with an allocation of Rs 700 crore, and the commencement of work on 37 new sewage treatment plants for cleaning the Yamuna. She also cited improvements in roads, sewer lines, schools and libraries, expansion of Rs 5 meals at 70 Atal Canteens, and single-window permissions for festivals such as Chhath and Kanwar Yatra.

Delhi Cabinet Minister Kapil Mishra said “365 days, 365+ works” reflected the pace of transformation, adding that the government was working on healthcare facilities, cultural promotion and public infrastructure.

Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva said the programme was an interaction with party workers whose efforts had helped form the government. He said the BJP would seek votes after five years on the basis of performance. North East Delhi MP Manoj Tiwari said the Chief Minister’s visit to the constituency after completing one year in office was significant. He highlighted the implementation of Ayushman Yojana in Delhi, renaming of Wazirabad Metro Station as Jagatpur Wazirabad, and road-widening works in the area, expressing confidence that residents would see visible changes in the next two years.
