On the first day of the New Year, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta visited the historic Hanuman Temple at Yamuna Bazaar, where she offered prayers and sought the blessings of Lord Bajrang Bali for happiness, peace and prosperity of the people of Delhi.

Performing traditional rituals at the temple, the Chief Minister prayed for a bright and prosperous future for the nation and the Capital. She expressed hope that the New Year would bring joy, progress and well-being to every family in Delhi.

Addressing the media after offering prayers, the CM said the beginning of the year is an occasion to renew collective commitment towards building a strong and developed Delhi. She noted that Lord Hanuman symbolises truth, courage, dedication and service, values that continue to guide public life and governance.

The CM also interacted with devotees present at the temple and extended New Year greetings to all.
