Cong men demonstrate outside Gujarat Bhawan

NEW DELHI: A large number of DPCC workers under the umbrella of the Delhi Pradesh Poorvanchal Congress, today held a demonstration outside the Gujarat Bhawan to protest against the attack on the Poorvanchali people, who hail from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh in Gujarat.

New Delhi, October 11

A large number of DPCC workers under the umbrella of the Delhi Pradesh Poorvanchal Congress, today held a demonstration outside the Gujarat Bhawan to protest against the attack on the Poorvanchali people, who hail from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh in Gujarat.

They shouted slogans such as “Banaras ka vote, Gujarat mein chhoot, nahi chalega, nahi chalega”, “Vote hamara, raj tumara, nahi chalega, nahi chalega”, etc.

Former MP and Poorvanchali leader Mahabal Mishra said that under the Constitution, fundamental right has been given to the citizens to work anywhere in the country. But, it is very sad that the BJP, which has always played divisive politics of dividing people on communal, casteist and regional basis, once again showed its divisive fangs when it fanned sentiments against people from the Poorvanchal region in Gujarat, resulting in the forced migration of thousands of people working in Gujarat. — TNS
