Delhi Education Minister Ashish Sood on Tuesday said that stronger collaboration between the government and industry will be crucial to transform the national capital into a global hub of growth, innovation and partnerships by 2047.
Addressing the CII Delhi State Annual Session 2025–26 & Business Conference organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the minister spoke about the importance of aligning policy reforms, education and entrepreneurship with the long- term vision of Viksit Bharat.
“Delhi 2047: Capital of Growth, Innovation & Global Partnerships” emphasised the need for sustained engagement between policymakers and industry leaders, the minister said.
“Strong government industry collaboration is essential to build Delhi as the capital of growth, innovation and global partnerships by 2047.”
The conference brought together industry representatives, policymakers and experts from various sectors to discuss the future of trade, innovation and economic growth in the Capital.
During his address, Sood noted that the business community in Delhi has raised concerns over issues related to trade growth, employment generation and the overall contribution of businesses to the city’s economy. He said these concerns often relate to infrastructure gaps, policy frameworks and the availability of land.
Highlighting the government’s approach, the minister said the Delhi government is committed to working closely with industry stakeholders to create future-ready policies and a more enabling business environment through deregulation and reforms.
