The Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday strongly condemned a social media post by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, in which he wrote, “Modi ji has only one way to deal with me. Get me killed…” on the platform X.

Delhi BJP spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapoor described the post as “completely condemnable” and said it reflects Kejriwal’s “longstanding belief in the politics of violence.” He said the post came a day after a court delivered a favourable order to Kejriwal, suggesting the timing indicates desperation to stay in the news.

Kapoor further warned that the police in Delhi, Punjab, Gujarat and Goa should remain vigilant to ensure that Kejriwal does not attempt to orchestrate any attack on himself during election campaigning.

In a direct response on X, Kapoor wrote, “Honourable @ArvindKejriwal ji, we may engage in politics with differing ideologies, but the post you have made reflects your petty and deplorable mindset. You are accountable — do you believe in politics of violence and murder against your political opponents?” He said, “@BJP4India neither believes in the politics of violence nor will it ever do so.”
