The Delhi unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched an extensive outreach campaign across the capital to communicate the key features and benefits of the Union Budget 2026 to all sections of society.

Addressing a discussion at the state BJP office, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva said party workers had been asked to take discussions on the Budget to “the last person in society”. He said the Budget, presented under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, lays the foundation for a developed India by 2047.

“Two decades from now, in 2047, India will most likely have either become the world’s largest economy or be on the verge of becoming one. This is precisely why the Congress and other opposition parties are disrupting the Budget Session of Parliament and trying to stall discussion on the Budget,” Sachdeva said.

Delhi BJP General Secretary and head of the Budget 2026 Discussion Committee Vishnu Mittal said senior party leaders had held multiple press conferences to outline the benefits for the capital.

“Delhi BJP President Shri Virendra Sachdeva, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, and all ministers held a press conference to apprise the people of Delhi about the benefits Delhi has received from the Budget,” Mittal said.

He added that Union Minister of State Harsh Malhotra, along with Delhi BJP MPs, the party’s CA Cell, Morchas and district organisations, organised press conferences and category-wise discussion meetings to present the Budget before different sections of society.

According to Mittal, the outreach began soon after Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Budget on February 1, with a series of press briefings and interaction programmes rolled out across the city. Gupta also addressed residents on the Budget’s benefits, he said.

From traders, women and farmers to workers, professionals and youth, BJP leaders and MPs engaged with citizens through conferences, seminars and social media campaigns, aiming to build broad-based awareness and support for Budget 2026 across Delhi.
