Delhi Nagrik bank launches ATM, debit card, gold loan services

Delhi Nagrik Sahakari Bank Limited on Saturday launched its ATM and debit card facilities as part of efforts to expand digital banking services and modernise customer experience in the cooperative banking sector.

The programme, organised at Hindi Bhawan near ITO, was inaugurated by Delhi Social Welfare and Cooperatives Minister Ravinder Indraj Singh, who attended the event as the chief guest. Along with ATM services, the bank also introduced a gold loan facility and outlined several initiatives aimed at

strengthening digital banking infrastructure and improving customer convenience.

Addressing the gathering, Singh said the cooperative sector plays an important role in economically empowering ordinary citizens and added that the Delhi government is working to connect cooperative institutions with modern technologies and digital services.

Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of “Sahkar Se Samriddhi”, the minister said expansion of digital banking facilities would help provide transparent, simple and accessible services to citizens while strengthening the cooperative sector in the capital. He said the government remains committed to making banking services more modern, citizen-centric and widely accessible.

Chairman of the bank, Pradeep Kumar Sharma, said the launch of ATM and debit card services marked a significant milestone in the bank’s growth journey. He added that the newly launched gold loan service would help provide customers with quick and simplified financial assistance.
