The State Crime Records Bureau (SCRB) of the Delhi Police Crime Branch was awarded the Quality Management Systems (QMS) Certification under ISO 9001:2015 by the Bureau of Indian Standards, Government of India, for its management of digital crime records. The certification recognises SCRB’s systems for the online registration and processing of e-FIRs related to motor vehicle theft and property theft, e-NCR, Zero Cyber FIR and Lost Reports, along with seamless integration of data with the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network & Systems (CCTNS) platform.

Officials said the certification marks a significant milestone in the adoption of technology-driven policing and reflects the sustained efforts of the SCRB team to ensure efficient, transparent and citizen-centric service delivery. The SCRB team has played a key role in achieving and maintaining the certification by ensuring continuous monitoring of data quality and compliance, real-time coordination with districts and police stations, timely resolution of technical and procedural issues, and regular guidance and capacity-building initiatives.
