Delhi to host ‘Bhajan Clubbing’ series across DU colleges

Delhi is set to host a unique cultural and spiritual celebration as the Delhi government launches the ‘Bhajan Clubbing’ series under Vasantotsav 2026, taking place across Delhi University colleges from February 10 to February 19.

Announcing the initiative, Delhi’s Minister for Art, Culture, Language and Tourism, Kapil Mishra, said the event will showcase a “confluence of devotion, culture, and modernity” and noted that the concept is gaining popularity among young people. He recalled that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has praised bhajan kirtan as the soul of Indian culture, highlighting similar initiatives in his Mann Ki Baat programme.

The series will begin on February 10 at Ramjas College with a devotional performance by Leela Band, followed by Raghav Raja at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College on February 11. On February 12, India Music Collective will perform at ARSD College, and Sadho Band will perform at Shaheed Sukhdev College.
