New Delhi, June 3

In a late evening released bulletin of the health department, Delhi saw a spike of 1,513 cases on Wednesday.

The total case of Coronavirus stands at 23,645. Around 8,405 people are under home isolation. The containment zones in total are 148.

The city saw nine death today, taking the toll to 606.

Meanwhile, the Delhi government has also set up a five-member committee to look into the overall preparedness of hospitals, health infrastructure, any other area strengthening of the infrastructure of health facilities is required for better management of COVID19.

The members include Dr Mahesh Verma, Vice-chancellor, IP University; Dr Sunil Kumar, Medical Director, GTBH; Arun Gupta, president, DMC; Dr RK Gupta, ex-president, DMA; Dr Sandeep Budhiraja, group medical director, Max hospital.
