NEW DELHI:The DSGMC today performed “ardaas” for departed soul of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who was consigned to flames at Smriti Sathal today.

The DSGMC today performed “ardaas” for departed soul of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who was consigned to flames at Smriti Sathal today.

Executive president of the DSGMC Harmeet Kalka said that during his government, Vajpyee had done commendable jobs for Punjab and the Sikh community. He had constituted a number of boards for development of Punjab state and the Sikh community. He had sanctioned Rs 300 crore for celebration of Khalsa Divas. — TNS
