The Delhi University School of Open Learning (DU SOL) has released the official date sheet for its December–January 2025–26 semester examinations for undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
The exams will begin from December 10, and will continue until February 2026, depending on the programme and semester.
The examination schedule applies to various streams including B.A. Programme, B.A. Honours, B.Com Programme, B.Com Honours and other courses under the open learning format. The exams will be held in offline mode at designated centres across Delhi, with both morning (9:30 AM–12:30 PM) and evening (2:30 PM–5:30 PM) sessions planned for different papers.
Students are required to download the hall ticket from the official portal and carry it along with a valid photo ID on the day of examination. Without the admit card, candidates will not be permitted to appear in the exams.
"Students are advised to carefully check the date sheet for their paper codes, exam dates, timing and course-specific instructions. Since the exam pattern aligns with Delhi University’s regular semester format, students are expected to follow the same academic structure including core papers, electives, skill based courses and value added subjects," SOL official said.
Meanwhile, student groups have urged the university to improve information transparency, citing confusion over deadlines and study material distribution in recent academic cycles. However, DU SOL administration officials have said the institution has streamlined online systems and extended submission windows to accommodate students.
With thousands of students enrolled in distance learning mode, DU SOL examinations remain one of the largest open learning assessment exercises in the country.
