DU’s 102nd convocation today

The 102nd convocation of the University of Delhi will be organised on February 28, at the multipurpose hall in the Sports Complex of DU. Vice-President CP Radhakrishnan will attend the ceremony as the chief guest, while DU Vice-Chancellor Prof Yogesh Singh will preside over the event.

All preparations for the convocation have been completed. On Friday evening, VC Yogesh visited the venue and reviewed the arrangements to ensure the smooth conduct of the ceremony.

The VC stated, “During this ceremony, UG, PG, and PhD students, who completed their degrees in 2025, will be awarded degrees.” He further said, “A total of 1,20,408 UG, PG and FYUP students will be awarded degrees during the convocation.” He added that approximately 750 PhD scholars would also be awarded degrees.

DU’s Controller of Examination Prof Gurpreet Singh Tuteja said the convocation would be organised at the multipurpose hall, located at the Sports Complex. He stated that 132 gold and silver medals and prizes would be awarded during the convocation. Prof Tuteja delineated that 112 gold medals and one silver medal will be awarded to UG and PG students while 19 prizes (certificates) will be presented to UG and PG students.
