The police arrested four persons after a video purportedly showing them performing stunts on cars on Dwarka expressway went viral on social media. Two cars used for the stunts were recovered from their possession.

According to the police, a video circulating on a social media platform showed the accused coming out of the sunroof of their car and making videos. The cars were also being driven at a high speed, posing a threat to the lives of other road users.

A case was registered at the Rajendra Park police station and the accused were arrested today. The accused were identified as Mohit Vats (30), a resident of Nawada village, Uttam Nagar West, Delhi; Gopi Raman (26), a resident of Amanour village, Muzaffarpur district, Uttar Pradesh; Vijay Sharma (30); and Ravi Shankar Mishra (29), both residents of Om Vihar, Phase 5, Uttam Nagar, Delhi.

“The accused revealed that they came to visit Aravalli Hills, Gurugram, and were returning to Delhi via Dwarka Expressway. On way, they made a video after coming out of the sunroof of a rashly driven car and posted it on social media. We are questioning the accused”, said a spokesperson for the Gurugram police.
