New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Friday observed that governments in the country don’t act until they are directed by the court, adding that this has been the experience of the apex court. The top court made the observation while saying it will pass directions on the pleas alleging that a section of media spread communal hatred over Tablighi Jamaat congregation in Delhi, after perusing the findings of Press Council of India (PCI) on around 50 such complaints.
