Hundreds of citizens participated in the “My Signature, My Opinion” public outreach campaign organised by the Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti at Rajiv Chowk Metro Station on Thursday to mark 12 years of the Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre.
The campaign, led by former Union Minister and Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti Vice-Chairman Vijay Goel, invited citizens to share their views on the government’s achievements and development initiatives through a giant signature wall installed at Gate No. 6 of the metro station.
Participants were encouraged to write messages and sign in support of various public welfare schemes, national achievements and the vision of a developed India. A large number of young people, particularly first-time and Gen Z voters, took part in the event and expressed their views on the country’s progress over the past decade.
Addressing the gathering, Goel said Prime Minister Narendra Modi had worked towards realising Mahatma Gandhi’s vision through a range of welfare and development programmes over the past 12 years.
