Inspired by Vivekananda, India writing success stories under PM: Nabin

BJP national working president Nitin Nabin on Thursday said India is scripting new success stories across sectors under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, drawing inspiration from the teachings of Swami Vivekananda.

Speaking after offering prayers at Ramakrishna Mandir in Paharganj on the occasion of Kalpataru Diwas, Nabin said the ideals of Swami Vivekananda and Ramakrishna Paramhansa continue to guide the nation on the path of progress and self-reliance. He also interacted with monks at the temple and received blessings from Delhi Ramakrishna Mission secretary Swami Sarvalokananda Maharaj.

Nabin said the vision of a developed India is deeply rooted in the values of service, unity and self-belief preached by Swami Vivekananda. “By imbibing his teachings, India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is writing new stories of success in every field,” he said.

Referring to the Prime Minister’s vision outlined from the Red Fort, Nabin said the five resolutions - a developed India, freedom from the mindset of slavery, pride in heritage, unity and solidarity and citizens’ duties - reflect the essence of Vivekananda’s philosophy. He said these ideals continue to guide the nation’s development journey.

Calling upon citizens to actively participate in nation-building, the BJP leader said collective effort was essential to achieve the goal of a strong, self-reliant and developed India. He said the teachings of Swami Vivekananda and Ramakrishna Paramhansa remain a source of inspiration, particularly for the youth of the country, including those from Bihar and Bengal.
