They were informed that there is no information of any accident or MLC by this name. They were also told that there is no reporting of his bike number as well.

Since last call was made by Kamal from District Centre, they came to Janakpuri around 2:50 am and reported him missing.

Additionally, Kamal's details, photograph and vehicle information were circulated to West District Control Room, SHOs’ group, and Janakpuri police station WhatsApp group, the DCP mentioned.

Police personnel HC Ramkesh, Constable Tejpal and DHG Vikas, along with family members, conducted searches in the park as per the location and nearby parking spaces and colony, but were neither able to trace him nor his vehicle, Bhaskar said.

Around 8 am, a PCR call was received at the Janakpuri police station regarding a man lying in a pit on Joginder Singh Marg, the cop mentioned.

The DCP said the victim was taken out of the pit with the help of DFS staff and taken to Deen Dayal Hospital in Hari Nagar where doctor declared him dead on arrival.
