New Delhi, January 15
Vikas Rai (24) was arrested for allegedly sending an e-mail to CM Arvind Kejriwal's office threatening to abduct his daughter. He reportedly wanted to draw the attention of a high-profile person to get better treatment for his psychiatric issues, said a Special Cell officer.
The CM office had received an anonymous e-mail on January 9 that was forwarded to police chief Amulya Patnaik.
The accused was arrested from Motihari (Bihar), his native place. He was preparing for competitive exams in Delhi, said a senior officer from the cyber unit, adding that he had been staying here for over a year now. — TNS
