According to the complaint, Zuber had gone to Indri on April 7 when some miscreants blocked his way near the patwar office and attacked him.

He alleged that the assailants, said to be involved in a previous murder case, inflicted serious injuries to his head and body and set a dog on him, worsening his condition. The victim’s family has demanded that a case be registered and the accused be arrested.

“A complaint has been received in the name of Zuber. The matter is under investigation. A case will be registered after verification of facts,” said inspector Vinod Kumar, SHO of the Rojka Meo police station.
