Man falls into open drain in Delhi’s Rohini; rescue operation on

A rescue operation is under way after a man fell into an open drain in the Begampur area of Delhi's Rohini on Tuesday, an official of the Delhi Fire Services said.

The incident occurred days after the death of a 25-year-old motorcyclist, Kamal Dhyani, who fell into a 15-ft-deep pit in the Janakpuri area on February 6.

The official said a call was received at around 7.45 pm, following which a rescue team was rushed to the spot.

"Teams are at the site and rescue efforts are in progress," the official said.
