Man killed after being hit by school van

NEW DELHI: A 48-year-old man died after his scooter was hit by a speeding school van, which was not carrying students during the time of the incident, in the Kalyanpuri area, a police official said.



New Delhi, November 15

A 48-year-old man died after his scooter was hit by a speeding school van, which was not carrying students during the time of the incident, in the Kalyanpuri area, a police official said.

The deceased was identified as Rajesh Kumar, a DTC bus driver.

The incident took place last morning when Kumar was returning home on his scooter. His head crushed under the wheel of the van, the official said.

The accused, Aloknath, has been arrested. The school van was impounded, said the official. — TNS
