Man''s body found dumped on roadside

A body of a man, Ragunath Mandal (62), a resident of Samaypur Badli, was found dumped by a road near some fields at Rohini’s Narela, a police official said.

A passerby, who was on a morning walk, spotted the body and informed the police about it around 7 am.

The body was dumped on a roadside near an isolated area at Holambi Kalan in Narela, DCP Rajneesh Gupta said.

A bullet injury was visible on the chest and near his body a live bullet was found, the DCP said.

A case was registered and the police are probing all angles, including that of personal enmity, the official said.

Officials were also scanning through the profiles of missing persons, the official said, adding that the body has been sent for post-mortem.
