Mann pitches for Kejriwal govt’s fourth term in Delhi
Donning a yellow turban and surrounded by thousands of AAP supporters, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann conducted several rallies across the national capital. The roadshows saw thousands of enthusiastic supporters lining the streets, waving party flags and chanting slogans in support of the Aam Aadmi Party.
“I am campaigning all over Delhi... Everyone is saying ‘abki baar Kejriwal’ and ‘fourth time Kejriwal’... On one side some people want to fight while on the other, some want to study. People will vote on the 5th... The people of Delhi know everything. We have faith in the people,” Mann said, while talking to mediapersons.
The Punjab CM addressed multiple campaign events in Delhi on Sunday, including a padyatra for Kejriwal in New Delhi, a jansabha for Dinesh Mohaniya in Sangam Vihar, and roadshows for Manish Sisodia in Jangpura, for Somnath Bharti in Malviya Nagar, and for Durgesh Pathak in Rajinder Nagar.
Mann also called out the BJP for using its vast financial resources to influence voters. “They are distributing money, sarees, blankets and shoes. They might come to you soon. But I request you, do not refuse them. After all, it is your own money. However, just remember to press the jhaadu button on February 5.”
