Haryana Revenue and Urban Local Bodies Minister Vipul Goel on Saturday inaugurated the Faridabad Flower Festival-2026. Goel, attending the festival as the chief guest, appreciated the efforts of MC Faridabad officers and public representatives in reviving the town flower park.

He said that the successful organisation of the programme was made possible due to the collective efforts of the MC team, elected representatives and various sections of society.

The Minister said that the people of Faridabad are committed to the development of the city. Referring to earlier tree plantation drives, development of Town Park, Eco-Van, Namo-Van, and beautification of parks, he said that the development works approved for Town Park will bring about even more visible changes in the coming years. He also informed that there are plans to introduce facilities such as a water canal and boating for children.

Highlighting improvements in sanitation arrangements, systems such as door-to-door waste collection, mechanised and manual cleaning, and night sweeping are being further strengthened and the city will witness significant improvements in the coming months.

Sharing the details about the proposed visit of the Chief Minister, Goel said that a programme has been scheduled at Sector-12 on April 4 at 11:00 am.

He added that the CM has announced several important initiatives for Faridabad in the Budget. He urged citizens to participate in the programme so that issues related to the city’s development can be presented effectively.

Regarding rumors spreading about LPG gas, Goel said that people should avoid misleading propaganda. There is no shortage of gas in the country and the state, and there is adequate supply, he added.
