The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), under the leadership of Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva, staged a protest outside the Congress headquarters on Friday, demanding the resignation of senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in connection with the National Herald case.

Led by BJYM Delhi president Sagar Tyagi, the protest witnessed the participation of several leaders — including BJYM national general secretary Rohit Chahal, Delhi general secretary Arun Daral, Gaurav Jorasiya and Puneet Sharma.

Addressing the protesters, Sachdeva said, “This case is from 2012, during the Congress regime, and the petitioners were from the Congress. Therefore, Congress leaders need to realise that the BJP has no role in this case. Now, when investigative agencies are probing the case under court orders, why are Congress leaders — especially Rahul and Sonia Gandhi — feeling troubled?” he said.

He accused Congress leaders of misusing public donations through companies like Associated Journals Ltd and Young India.

“From Jawaharlal Nehru to Rahul Gandhi, everyone has looted the public’s money,” Sachdeva alleged. He said the protests would continue until Rahul Gandhi provided answers to the nation.

Tyagi said, “The family that looted the country, implemented Article 370 to divide it, and gave refuge to anti-national forces must be held accountable now. Prime Minister Narendra Modi removed Article 370, and now Rahul Gandhi must give answers in the National Herald case.”

Chahal also took a sharp jibe at Congress, saying, “In Congress today, the mother, brother and brother-in-law are all out on bail. After committing theft, the Congress itself is now on the streets.”
