The Delhi State Legal Services Authority (DSLSA) organised a mega legal services camp in the North-West District at MCD Boys School, Mangolpur Kalan.
The camp witnessed an impressive footfall of over 800 beneficiaries from Mangolpur Kalan and nearby areas.
A wide range of services, including enrolment and updation of Aadhaar cards and labour cards; facilitation of child welfare schemes such as Ladli Scheme and Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana; welfare schemes for women; and social security schemes for unorganised sector workers; were made available during the camp.
Several government departments, including Revenue, Labour, Education, Construction Workers Welfare Board and MCD, took part. A medical camp and a mental health helpdesk were also organised for the benefit of residents.
The camp was held under the leadership of Justice V Kameswar Rao, Judge, High Court of Delhi and Executive Chairperson, DSLSA.
Addressing the gathering, he emphasised the crucial role of legal services institutions in ensuring that access to justice and welfare entitlements meaningfully reach the most vulnerable sections of society.
