New Delhi, May 23

DSGMC president and national spokesperson for the Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) Manjinder Singh Sirsa said winning 351 seats by the BJP and its alliance parties in the Lok Sabha elections 2019 proved that electorates of the country had put their stamp on the work done by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi government.

Sirsa said Modi was a politician of a long-term game. He said, "It is our luck that we have got an able Prime Minister like Narendra Modi".

He said during the past five years Modi had taken many decisions with courage. Though opposition parties opposed this, people of the country accepted that decision by making the BJP victorious in the elections.

Besides, Sirsa congratulated Sukhbir Singh Badal and Harsimrat Kaur Badal for their victory. Sukhbir's victory with big margin proves that people of Punjab like him. This has happened even after the Punjab government had tried its level best to defeat him. — TNS
