Union Minister Piyush Goyal and Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva launched a scathing attack on former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, accusing him of making false promises and engaging in corruption over the past 10 years. The BJP leaders also released a video, detailing Kejriwal’s alleged deceptions and failures in governance.

Addressing a press conference on Monday, Goyal assured that the BJP-led government in Delhi would focus on development, public welfare and providing permanent housing for city residents.

“Delhi is about to get a government driven by development and committed to ensuring a better future for all,” Goyal said, adding that Delhiites were eager to vote for the BJP under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership.

Goyal also praised the Union Budget 2025, highlighting its emphasis on small industries, tax relief for the middle class and a broader economic vision aimed at strengthening India’s global presence.

He further accused the AAP government of depriving Delhi of key developmental benefits, particularly in sectors like healthcare and housing.

“The AAP government has failed to deliver on essential schemes like Ayushman Bharat and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana,” he said.

“Delhi is ready to return to an era of development as it did under the leadership of Madan Lal Khurana and Sahib Singh Verma,” Goyal added.

Goyal concluded by expressing confidence in the BJP’s imminent victory, stating, “February 5 will be a historic day when the people of Delhi will vote for a double-engine government led by the BJP.”

With the campaigning coming to an end, Goyal said both BJP workers and the public had intensified efforts to ensure the party’s success. “Delhiites, like the people of Haryana and Maharashtra, are now ready to bless the BJP,” he said.
