Prosecutors appointed in Saxena murder case

NEW DELHI:The Aam Aadmi Party government today appointed senior lawyer Rebecca John and Vishal Gossain as special public prosecutors in the murder case of a photographer, Ankit Saxena.

The Aam Aadmi Party government today appointed senior lawyer Rebecca John and Vishal Gossain as special public prosecutors in the murder case of a photographer, Ankit Saxena.

The incident took place on February 1, 2018, in West Delhi when 23-year-old Saxena was allegedly killed by the parents of his 19-year-old girlfriend. The government had assured that it would ensure immediate redressal of the case. Saurabh Bhardwaj, chief spokesperson for AAP, while addressing media on the issue, said, “Adequate steps have been taken towards resolving the issue .”
