Remote-control exam scam busted in Delhi’s Dwarka; 32 students hired for solving paper caught

The Delhi Police have busted an organised cheating racket involved in manipulating online entrance exams through remote access and outsourced paper solvers in Dwarka. The action began after police received a tip-off about suspicious activity at Happy Homes in Sector 23.

“Harsh Vardhan (28), a resident of Patna, Bihar, was at the centre of the racket. He arranged candidates for entrance exams of a reputed management institute in Mumbai. His team accessed the lab’s computers remotely using apps like AnyDesk and Ammy Admin, and “experts” solved questions in real-time,” said DCP (Dwarka) Kushal Pal Singh.

Another associate, Pranjal, recruited college students as solvers, paying them Rs 500-1,000 per question. On the day of the raid, 32 students were present, allegedly ready to solve exam questions. Police have recorded their details and initiated legal proceedings.

A case has been registered under relevant sections of the BNS. Police are working to identify more people linked to the racket and trace compromised exams.
