Road accident claims lives of two friends
One more youth suffers injuries
Two friends were killed and another suffered injuries after their motorcycle met with an accident in Narela area.
The incident came to light after Satyawadi Raja Hospital informed the police that three injured persons - as Jatin (21), Abhishek (19) and Ankit (21) - were brought to the hospital following an accident. Ankit was declared dead on arrival.
After getting information, a police team reached the hospital. Ankit, a resident of Rajiv Colony, Delhi, suffered head and multiple facial injuries. He was declared dead on arrival. Two others were referred to BR
Healthcare Hospital, Rohini, Sector 17, an official said.
Meanwhile, Jatin, a resident of Rajiv Colony, Narela, also succumbed to injuries during treatment.
A motorcycle, on which they were riding, was recovered from the scene.
Centralised Accident and Trauma Services (CAT) ambulance driver Sanjay told the police that while he was going towards Singhu Border, he found them lying on the road with a motorcycle nearby. He shifted them to the hospital.
The police have launched an investigation in this regard.
