New Delhi, November 19
After an ardass organised in Gurdwara Bangla Sahib yesterday, Shrimonai Akali Dal (Delhi) president Paramjit Singh Sarna said if police and administration fail to take action against DSGMC president Manjit Singh GK for alleged charges of corruption by November 20, the SADD would intensify its agitations. Pamphlets were distributed among the devotees in the gurdwara informing them about the alleged corruptions. The ardaas was organised in protest against the police inaction against GK levelled by an independent member of the gurdwara committee, Harmit Shanty.
However, DSGMC today condemned the SADD statements and ardaas saying that agitation should be held in front of residence of 1984 riot accused, Jagdish Tytler.
Sarna said there was no need of evidence to prove the allegations of the corruption against GK as his no reactionary statement has proved this. He would announce the next programme after consulting with the community members. — TNS
