South Delhi MP accuses Atishi of misleading public

Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, BJP MP from South Delhi, has criticised former Chief Minister Atishi, accusing her of misleading the public and engaging in false propaganda.

He asserted that the double-engine BJP government at the Centre and in Delhi was committed to fulfilling every promise made in its manifesto.

Bidhuri highlighted key initiatives implemented after the formation of the BJP government in Delhi such as Ayushman Bharat Yojana, which now provides free treatment up to Rs 10 lakh. He said under the Mahila Samridhi Yojana, the government has approved Rs 2,500 month aid for women, with Rs 5,100 crore allocated for the scheme.

Bidhuri questioned the AAP government’s failure to deliver on its promise of Rs 1,000 per month for women in the 2024-25 Budget, despite a budgetary provision of Rs 2,000 crore. He demanded accountability for the funds and accused Atishi of only holding press conferences.
