Addressing students and faculty, Gupta urged young people to internalise Swami Vivekananda’s teachings and actively participate in nation building. She also unveiled a statue of the philosopher at the college canteen lawn, which was formally named the Swami Vivekananda Complex. The newly developed complex aims to provide a platform for intellectual, cultural, and leadership development.

“Swami Vivekananda’s life and philosophy continue to guide generations towards self-confidence, discipline and service to the nation,” Gupta said. She encouraged students to adopt his message, “Arise, awake and stop not till the goal is reached,” as a guiding principle in life. Highlighting the role of youth in achieving India’s vision for 2047, she said progress depends not only on government policies but on the collective participation of 140 crore citizens.
