Teacher molests orphan girl

NEW DELHI:An incident of molestation has been reported from Narayana Vihar area.

An incident of molestation has been reported from Narayana Vihar area. According to police, in a computer institute, a teacher has been troubling and trying to get physical with a 17-year-old girl for last three months.

The victim narrated the entire episode to a woman, who is working for an NGO. After which, the incident was reported to the police. Police is also questioning other students of the computer institute.

According to a senior police officer, the victim is an orphan and is residing in am orphanage run by Salaam Balak Trust. The girl, for last six months, was taking basic training in computer skills in the computer training institute at Narayan Vihar.

According to the victim, the computer institute is run by Dinesh and his wife. The former also takes computer classes of the students. The victim in her complaint has said that whenever Dinesh found her alone in the institute he tried to touch her with bad intention. Due to which, she also stopped going to the institute. When the orphanage management asked her the reason, she narrated the entire incident to them.

Police on the complaint of the victim has registered an FIR and slapped Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) on the accused. However, the accused has not been arrested till now.

According to police, the accused will be arrested soon, after taking statement from other girl students of the institute.
