Two students riding on a bike were killed when a speeding tractor, travelling on the wrong side of the road, struck their vehicle near Rojka village, close to Sohna. After the accident, local residents quickly gathered at the scene, apprehended the tractor driver, and handed him over to the police. An FIR has been registered at the city Sohna police station.
The deceased were identified as Sher Khan (18) and Amir (15), both residents of Kanwarsika village. The incident occurred this morning near Rojka village, as the two students were riding their bike towards Sohna. Eyewitnesses reported the tractor, coming from the wrong side of the road, collided with the bike.
The impact severe and students were thrown onto the road and died instantly. Villagers who witnessed the incident rushed to the scene, held the tractor driver and alerted the authorities.
Upon receiving the information, a police team arrived at the location, took the driver into custody and transported the bodies for postmortem. After the procedure, the bodies were handed over to the victims’ families.
A senior police officer said the tractor driver had been arrested and was being questioned.
