Woman jumps from hotel building, injured

A 20-year-old woman suffered serious injuries after she allegedly jumped from the fourth floor of a hotel in East Delhi on Friday afternoon, the police said.

According to the police, the incident took place around 1 pm. They received a PCR call at the Farsh Bazar police station, reporting that a woman had jumped from a hotel building in the Vishwas Nagar area.

The caller informed the police that the woman had checked into Hotel Santosh Residency with a 22-year-old man. They had a quarrel and the girl jumped off the window of the 4th floor in anger.

The police rushed to the spot and took the woman to a nearby hospital, where she is currently undergoing treatment. The police said further enquiry is underway.
