Trump had arrived in India on Monday and addressed the gathering at Motera stadium in Ahmedabad before visiting the Taj Mahal in Agra in the evening.

Trump's daughter Ivanka, son-in-law Jared Kushner and several top officials of the US administration were also present at the ceremony.

Later, Trump and Melania visited the Rajghat and paid tributes to Mahatma Gandhi.
