Banita Sandhu turned heads at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, dressed in an Amit Aggarwal couture gown. Joining the cast of Bridgerton, that was nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series, Banita stunned in an avant-garde metallic gown, accessorising it with drop earrings and a sleek ponytail.

The strapless long dress, cinched at the waist, and a cut at above naval, shone and shimmered in the lights. Aggarwal called the dress “a convergence of craftsmanship and innovation—where our signature textile morphs into paradoxical forms, embodying the fluidity of time itself.” Banita, who debuted in Bollywood opposite Varun Dhawan with the film October, also took to social media to pen a note to gratitude. “@amitaggarwalofficial & team, thank you for designing my dream dress that is legit out-of-this-world. You are a visionary & this look was exactly everything I wanted and more than I could have ever imagined. I couldn’t be prouder to wear Indian couture as a first-time SAG nominee. I’m still pinching myself. Thank you to my whole team for making this happen. I’m the luckiest girl in the world.”
