Aparshakti goes 'dark' in Gunmaaster G9

Aparshakti Khurana has stepped into one of his deadly shades as a primary antagonist in Gunmaaster G9, co-starring Emraan Hashmi and Genelia Deshmukh. Directed by Aditya Datt, the film promises to showcase Khurana embracing a layered, grey character — something that the actor has never done before.

On July 10, Aparshakti wrapped up the film’s schedule with Emraan Hashmi and took to his social media handle to share a set of exciting BTS, which are currently creating a storm! The reason? Khurana’s villainy look featuring unkempt curls, rugged costume and a striking nose ring - one that’s enough to promise that his character will be a level up in the entirety of latest antagonists!

Earlier, Khurana shared that he always wanted to explore a grey character. Gunmaaster G9 offers him just the right opportunity to go beyond comedy roles and endearing presence. Here, there is intelligence, pain and an emotional backstory that drives the madness.

Gunmaaster G9 promises thrilling action sequences and high-stakes drama, and it strikes a nostalgic chord by reuniting Emraan Hashmi and Himesh Reshammiya. And with Aparshakti Khurana taking a bold leap with his darker shade, tables will surely flip this time!

Though the film’s release date is yet to be locked, the makers are eyeing a Dussehra 2026 release!
