Titled Dhurandhar 2, the film promises a darker, more intense narrative, with heightened action and emotional drama. One of the biggest mysteries surrounding the sequel remains the identity of “Bade Sahab,” a shadowy figure teased in early promotions. According to online speculation, Emraan Hashmi could be stepping into this pivotal role.

The rumours gained traction after a screenshot from Letterboxd went viral, listing Hashmi among the cast members.

However, since the platform allows public edits, the authenticity of the listing remains uncertain. Speculation also suggests that ‘Bade Sahab’ could be an alias inspired by controversial real-life figures, though nothing has been confirmed.

Additionally, Raj Zutshi is rumoured to portray a Pakistani general, while Yami Gautam is believed to be making a cameo appearance. Following the recent teaser drop, anticipation for the sequel has surged further.

A report by Pinkvilla states that the trailer is expected to release around March 5, strategically timed ahead of the film’s Eid release on March 19.

Directed by Aditya Dhar and backed by Jio Studios along with B62 Studios, Dhurandhar 2 is already being positioned as one of the year’s biggest theatrical spectacles.
