BTS win big at American Music Awards 2021

The American Music Awards 2021 took place in Los Angeles on Sunday evening (November 21). The event was held at the Microsoft Theatre in LA with Cardi B as the host for the gala affair. BTS, Doja Cat and Megan Thee Stallion all topped the winners circle at the awards’ night with three wins apiece. Artiste of the Year, Favourite Pop Group as well as Favourite Pop Song (Butter), all three went to BTS. The evening also saw Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Drake and others take home the trophy as winners. Three-time AMA winner Jennifer Lopez delivered a magical performance of her newly released song On My Way from the soundtrack of her upcoming film Marry Me.

This year’s ‘AMA Song of the Soul’ segment honoured German singer-songwriter Zoe Wees for her powerhouse performance in Girls Like Us. Country music star Mickey Guyton wowed audiences with a performance on her newest single, All American.
